| Green Gables on Prince Edward Island |
GREEN GABLES – CAVENDISH – PEI NATIONAL PARK – This morning we took a pilgrimage to the land of Anne of Green Gables, to visit some of the sites involving the red-haired orphan and her creator, Lucy Maud Montgomery.
Nancy and I both read Anne of Green Gables just prior to this trip. Therefore, we were especially excited about seeing these attractions.
This afternoon, we enjoyed the beauty of the island’s North Shore, composed of red sandstone cliffs, white sand beaches, rolling farm fields, fishing villages and lighthouses.
