Trip to Nova Scotia, New Brunswick & PEI - Day 1

We are off to tour Canada’s Maritime Provinces which are dominated by the sea; with long, jagged coastlines containing picturesque bays, sandy beaches, and towering cliffs. Friends Jim and Nancy Parker are also along for the journey. Nancy and I worked together at Transylvania University for nearly 20 years. Their company will make this adventure very special.

Coastal Canada has been on my list of future travel destinations for some time. I will celebrate my 70th birthday during the trip and couldn't wish for a more wonderful present.

Our first day’s drive takes us up through Ohio and Pennsylvania to our first overnight in Dunkirk, New York. Tomorrow we travel across western New York State to Canandaigua in the Finger Lakes region.
